HEALTH AND SAFETY

Health and Safety

Our primary objective is to reduce workplace injuries and accidents to ensure employee safety, prevent health issues, minimize the environmental impact of our operations, and enhance Zheti Oil's reputation and image. This aligns with the company’s policy on occupational health, safety, and the environment. We are continuously working to strengthen our safety culture, increase top management's commitment to safety and health, empower employees with the right to halt work they believe is unsafe, and deepen our understanding of the root causes of accidents.

Over the past three years, the management of Zheti Oil has consistently supported and promoted the following values:

  • Prioritizing human life and health above production outcomes;
  • Ensuring participation in and providing training on HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) issues for managers at all levels;
  • Holding employees personally accountable for adhering to safety regulations;
  • Cultivating a proactive safety culture aimed at preventing accidents and disasters;
  • Maintaining effective communication among all stakeholders;
  • Ensuring safe work practices and addressing unsafe behaviors.

  • Our company's occupational safety and health culture has significantly improved, with a more than 300 percent increase in reporting transparency. The next step in enhancing transparency will involve Zheti Oil's membership, which will allow for the sharing of information and knowledge. Root cause analysis-based accident investigations and incident prevention, combined with training and sharing lessons learned within our business group, have positively impacted accident reduction.

    We continue to benchmark ourselves against similar companies in the oil and gas industry (International Organization of Oil and Gas Producers, IOGP) to identify areas for improvement in occupational health and safety, aiming to reduce the number of accidents and industrial incidents. The following actions have been taken to enhance our safety culture and reduce workplace injuries:

  • Installing safety seat belts in all Group vehicles;
  • Developing the "Behavioral Safety Surveillance" program;
  • Creating corporate documentation.
